What is the THIRSTY Cup?

The THIRSTY Cup is a club only contest. The inaugural contest is limited to 4 BJCP styles from the 2015 style guidelines.

How is the award determined?

The beer entries will be judged and scored by club members following the 2015 BJCP guidelines. To be eligible for the THIRSTY cup, you must enter 2 of the 4 categories. Points will be calculated by averaging the judging score and assigning placements for each entrant. Points for 1, 2 and 3 place will be assigned as follows 1= 5 points, 2 = 3 points, 3 = 1 points.

How do I participate?

Submit 2 (12 oz bottles) or (a growler) for judging at the Tuesday evening meeting. The entry must not be identifiable by entrants name or name of beer, etc. Entries must be submitted by 7:30 pm. To participate, must be a member in good standing.
