The tour was led by Dan Paca, one of the partners at Buck Creek Hops. We spent nearly 2 hrs at the hop yard learning about large scale hop farming. We plan a second tour at harvest.

Tour Buck Creek Hopyard Saturday, June 25 Meet at Buck Creek Hops at 11am Directions from Iowa City: Highway 1 North, East on Morse Road, North on Turner Ave NE, approximately 1 mile turn East into a Driveway that has a steel shed and a construction sign out front.

When: Tuesday, July 7 7pm – 9 pm Where: Bruce’s house , 926 Pepper Dr. Iowa City Bring homebrew to sample/critique/showoff Topic: Since it is summer: Summer beers or your favorite canned commercial summer beer. We will be outside under Bruce’s pergola.
April Meeting
When: Tuesday, April 7 7pm – 9 pm Where: The Sanctuary Pub, Iowa City Bring homebrew to share. Our group has grown and a suggestion was raised at last meeting to bring 2 bottles per sample. Topic: Water analysis results, Cork & Bottle event, Great Taste event.
