The Festival of Iowa Beers is the state’s longest running beer festival held each year on the Sunday before Labor Day at Millstream Brewing Company in Amana. Debuting in 2005 with 300 attendees sampling beers from eight Iowa breweries, today, FoIB attendance is capped at 1,400 while featuring over 50 Iowa breweries. Iowa cider, meads, and other gluten-free options will also be available.
The 2019 fest runs from 1-5 pm on Sunday, Sept. 1. Admission includes a souvenir glass and unlimited beer samples. Food (additional cost) and live music will be provided.
Tickets ($30 in advance and $35 day-of) are available at Millstream’s tasting room or online via Tikly (beginning July 15).
