Buck Creek Hop Tour

The tour was led by Dan Paca, one of the partners at Buck Creek Hops. We spent nearly 2 hrs at the hop yard learning about large scale hop farming. We plan a second tour at harvest.

July Meeting – Venue Change

Topic: Since it is summer: Summer beers or your favorite canned commercial summer beer. We will be outside under Bruce’s pergola.

March Meeting

Meetings have returned to the First Tuesday of the month schedule

When: Tues, March 3 7pm – 9pm
Where: The Sanctuary Pub, 405 S. Gilbert Iowa City.

Since March includes St. Patrick’s Day and St. Joseph’s Day.
Bring a beer with either an Irish, Italian, Polish or Czech heritage to share.

February Meeting

Meetings are back to the First Tuesday of the month schedule

Where: The Sanctuary Pub, 405 S. Gilbert Iowa City.

Since February and Chocolate are a standard pairing.
Bring a beer (commercial or homebrew) with chocolate in one form or another as an ingredient or flavor profile. (cocoa powder, cacoa nibs, chocolate, chocolate malt are just a few examples)
